Are you there G(P)? It's me... (An important update on my reproductive system!)
I started reading TCOYF back in January, and I have finally shlogged through it. So, for the first time since 2002, I am off BCP. We'll still be TTA for the rest of the year while we work out some financial and career issues. I'm excited and nervous, like I'm waiting for my first period again. My reproductive system has been on chemical lockdown since I was seventeen; I mean, my ovaries probably still think that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are a couple. Wish me luck, because long ago, when I had a natural menstrual cycle, it was a total shit show.
Married 2011.
Baby Boy 2015.

One hint if you struggle with cramps, take two ibuprofen in each of the two days leading up to when your period starts. There's a scientific reason for it (something about prostaglandins), and it helps tremendously in easing cramps. And since you're TTA there's no harm in taking the ibuprofen.
After 2 years of TTC, lots of tests, and a Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove several polyps,
