I just read this for SuBC and I would give this two stars because I felt like I wasted time reading this book more than I enjoyed it. I did not learn anything about her life or her, just stories that I felt were not very funny to me. I was very disappointed because I watch her show every single day and I am always laughing at her, but almost wish I would not have read this book.

I listened to the audio for this one and also gave it 2 stars. I think I was even more disappointed because Ellen is normally so awesome.

This is so disappointing. Do you think that she's reached a level of stardom where there is no one around her anymore that challenges her and keeps it real?

I am not sure... everything else she has done I find it hilarious. I think it is mainly because this is a book of just random thoughts trying to be funny. There is no real purpose of the book. That is what bothered me the most, that I felt like I was wasting time reading the book, when I could have read a book with actual depth.

2 stars here too! I do like Ellen, but this book/audio was awful! It was so random and the "short stories" and crazy sound effects...were very annoying! Bummed!
