  • I am better about it than he is, bc I have asthma so I have to go back to get my Rx refilled.  I need to make him an appointment.  I do go to the obgyn yearly.

I haaateeeeee going to the doctor.  It makes me so nervous.

  • Along the lines of a regular doctor, no. Only ones that I am on a yearly basis with are my gyno and allergist. H hasn't been to a doctor since his cyst surgery.

  • My doctor told me to come in every other year now.  DH has an annual physical for work.

  • The only one I see annually is my obgyn.  H will only go when necessary, but he did get a physical about a year and a half ago.  I need to remind him to go again.

  • I get my yearly with the OBGYN but never another. The last time I had a physical with a family doctor was 2005 before my last knee surgery.

H has only gone the last two years or so, before they he hadn't been since he left the Army.

  • NOPE never.  I don't like being touched by people I don't know well.  The last time I had a check up was March 2013 because I started seeing the doctor H does. H used to go but not anymore.

I'm from the "doctors are for the sick" school of thought.

  • I have the past few years, but this year I just did my OBGYN. I really think H needs to go get one, even if he only goes the first time. He has Crohn's and doesn't have a GP, just a GI doctor. He's so stubborn.

  • I go to the GYN yearly. Last year we started going to a primary. We both have family history of medical problems that started early so I want to make sure we keep on top of things,
  • I've actually never been to just a GYN. In grad school, the student insurance only covered the university health center. I used to go there once a year for a physical/gyn exam. Now that I'm not a grad student, I see a family medicine PA at my husband's practice and take care of everything there.

H really needs to go, but he's incredibly stubborn and thinks he's above periodic physicals because he's a PA himself.

  • H has medical issues so he goes every 3 months and he gets a yearly physical from work.
I go to the gyn yearly and only see my primary when I'm sick or something is bothering me. I haven't been back to see my primary in a year and a half when I started to get treatment for my migraines by a Neuro doctor.
