Re: @duxcaelo Re: Remember Me (sp possible)

  • Perfect timing! I started it yesterday. I am about halfway into the first, my edition came with all three. So far, I really like it! It is just what I was in the mood for!

Shari has all this snark; it's great. I haven't figured out who did it, so I'm hoping we get to find out what actually happened.

Are the other two worth reading?

  • SP Up to The Return

I really liked it! I loved the twists at the end and seeing how it came together. I'm about halfway through the second. It is a bit more metaphysical, but still believable. I just finished reading the writer's inspiration story, which was excellent.

  • The inspiration story?  It's been so long, I'm not sure I remember!

  • More SP

It is Jean's first story, centering around an author who meets her muse, who lived in the closet, and has to find a creative way to deal with him.

More SP for the whole trilogy ( @SnShne322 )

I really liked it! I think the metaphysical take on life after death and free choices and all that is really a great notion, especially for the YA genre. One of my favorite ideas suggested revolves something around that we easily believe when someone is angry but yet question when someone loves.

Story wise, I liked how Jean/Shari ended up being super wealthy and famous (sort of to compensate for her short first life) and yet she still had lessons to learn and was tempted. I also liked that Peter redeemed himself.

I was sadden by the death of the detective; I love how he knew in like 5 seconds that she had been murdered from the very beginning. And it makes me want to re-read The Starlight Crystal, which is packed away in storage until we move into our new apartment Monday.
