Stolen from GP: Weekend Plans

What's everyone up to?

Everything I have going on is pretty baby-related!

We're taking our hospital tour on Saturday (yay!). I'm hoping I can get DH to go to Ikea afterward to get the ledges I want to put in the nursery for books and a couple of other shelves to put up high with a few dolls that I love but have nowhere else to live and maybe some storage.

Sunday will probably be some house cleaning and more organizing in the nursery.

Re: Stolen from GP: Weekend Plans

  • Tonight: We were going to go to the fair, but it's been a crazy week and we just want to stay home.  So we'll likely get some housework done instead.

Tomorrow: I have an 11 mile run at 6am that I'm trying not to phsych myself out with. My run Wednesday was horrible and I started cramping 15 minutes in.  Then last night H and I went for a late run when it was dark, and it was amazing.  Hoping it was just being in the direct sun and warm temps.
There's also a wedding at 1:30, but the reception isn't until 6. They're only 45 minutes away from each other and both are in BFE.  So there's nothing to do for those 3-4 hours inbetween.  We may skip out on the ceremony and just go to the reception instead.

Sunday: Church then a bunch of housework and canning.  My tomatoes are finally turning and I almost have enough for a batch of salsa to can. Yum! :-)

  • I have to buy a dress for a wedding I am going to tomorrow. I am debating going to Destination Maternity and buying one there so that I can wear it tomorrow and for the 3 weddings I have in October. Otherwise I would be buying a dress to wear just for tomorrow and hoping I can fit in it next year and find some place to wear it too...
Tonight after my dress dilemma we are having dinner with one of DH's suppppeeer annoying friends. UGH
Tomorrow - wedding at sleeping at my Dad's

Sunday - Spending the day with my Mom and Sister.

  • @goodwolf - seriously, that little girl had better get her ass moving already! How'd the NST/BPP go yesterday? I don't remember seeing an update after the u/s.

@brij2006 - I hate it when people do that, putting soooo much time between wedding and reception. It's such a pain for all the guests! I'd probably be skipping the ceremony, too, if I were you.

  • @brij2006 - I wouldn't do the ceremony either. I hate when wedding's are set up that way! I have a NYE wedding to go to and the ceremony is at 3 but the cocktail hour is at 7. I told DH(he is the the wedding party) that he will see me at 6:30 no earlier.
