  • Leah is our #1/#2 girl name depending on the day.

I have had too many Katelyn/Kaitlyn/Kaitlin/Caitlyn/Katelens over the year to love the name anymore.  Plus, I have a SIL Kate, so I'm not on board with a nickname close to her name.

Jocelyn is a NO. Mostly due to a negative association with one.

Lucas is the only boy name we'd consider using.

  • I like Kipp.  I don't mind the others but wouldn't use them.

  • I like Lucas. I would prefer Jude to Judd. The girls names are NMS, and I know too many people with those names.

     ~ S & L 8-25-12  ~

"I said what I meant and I meant what I said, an elephant's faithful 100%" Dr. Seuss, Horton Hatches The Egg. My Ovulation Chart Ttc buddies with LexiMS!

  • Jocelyn was on our short list, but spelled Joselyn.
Katelyn is pretty, although I think I also prefer it spelled Caitlin, but it doesn't crack our top ten.
Leah is beautiful, but itswmy cousin's name, so we wouldn't use it.

Judd is my uncle's name (it's a nn for George also, which is his given name), so also wouldn't get used.
Kipp is a no for me; sounds more like a pet's name
Lucas is good, but I have a cousin named Luke, so it wouldn't get used.
