Overnight getaway with 9 month old
Hey ladies! DH is taking a week off of work (the week of Labor day) and we were thinking about going somewhere overnight. We had in mind something like Great Wolf Lodge because DS loves swimming and we could just hang out, but they're all too far away. So, if you were going somewhere overnight with a 9 month old who isn't a great napper but loves to people watch and is within about a 2 hour drive, where would you go?

My three sons!
Or what about Idlewild, and then treating yourself to a hotel near there...or head over to Seven Springs for the evening/day after. I bet they have something going on for Labor Day. (I would say it was probably a 30ish minute drive from one to the other.) You could even skip Idelwild and just hit Seven Springs. They have a pool, horse drawn carriage rides, etc.
We went to Presque isle last Labor Day. It was a fun little weekend trip. We camped with my parents and dd loved swimming in the pool there and we did the beach. It's also close enough to Splash lagoon that you could go there too. We took dd on a seperate trip a few months ago and she loved it.
