I have a bachelorette party on Labor Day weekend. The woman putting it together has requested that we all wear something sparkly on Saturday night. The daytime is a beer tour of Boston, then back to her place to change, then dinner at Beehive (
http://www.beehiveboston.com/) and then likely out to Loretta's Last Call (
http://www.lorettaslastcall.com) or something like it. I'm not a sparkly person. Like, at all. I have a dress I was planning to wear. It's not fancy, but I don't think the places are are going to are. I need to figure out shoes. I'm OK with buying a pair at a reasonable price, but we will be doing some walking and I don't want to spend a ton of money. I don't know where to fit the sparkles in. Maybe a scarf? I'd really hate to buy a sparkly dress that I most definitely will not wear again. I have a couple of T strap sandals, but I don't think they are right for the evening? Any ideas? I have a cute pair of wedge heels, but I don't want to look like the American flag, either. Yellow, maybe?
Dress I was hoping to wear:

What do you think?

Show me pictures. I might be able to suck it up for the night. I love this girl, so I want to do what works, but I don't want to spend a ton of money either.

Can you throw in some reasonable picture or link suggestions? And I'm totally cool with playing up the sparkle with accessories, and a little sparkle on the dress, but I would like to get one that I would wear again, you know? I'm a boot and sweater girl. I clean up nice, but I don't have to do it often enough to get a dress I would likely only wear once.

What about something like this? http://www.avenue.com/en_US/product-variation?dwvar_341462367_color=935&dwvar_341462367_size=14%2F16&pid=341462367
More thank likely, you won't need a plus size but it's the closest I could find to what's in my head. You could wear it with skinny jeans and boots plus a blazer for day and fancy it up with different accessories for evening.

Sorry... I just can't get over them "telling" you what to wear. But maybe that's just me...
@MrsJenE. I'm thinking between 50-100. It doesn't buy a lot, I know. I think I have shoes that could work with a LBD.

Any thoughts on ones that might be a little more flattering on the midsection? I keep finding fit and flares, but those can be hit or miss depending on where the wait hits. I find that empire just makes me look pregnant and those aren't really plentiful these days anyway.
Yay or nay?

Nordstrom Rack would be great too, but we don't have one close so I onoy get to go when I am out of town.
I love the striped dress for your day time activites! It is super cute!

I ended up buying these two and seeing if either will work.
