I am really liking it. DH doesn't like the parts in gaelic. He thinks its a turn off for a show to not speak english and not have subtitles. I wish he would learn gaelic and whisper sweet nothings in my ear...

I liked the episode. I wanted to do an Outlander reread before the season started and I didn't get a chance. Its been awhile since I've read it and I can't remember every single detail but when I watch the show and especially in the previews I find myself thinking, I don't remember that in the book. Its probably better I didn't do the reread and just try and enjoy the show or else I'd sit there and analyze everything more than I already am. As long as they don't get too off track, like True Blood with the whole Maenad and Hep V thing, I think I'll be ok. Some naked Jamie would help me forget about some of the discrepancies.

Yup. And the thing I hate the MOST is I'm like "THAT NEVER HAPPENED!...... wait, right? Did that happen?!? How DID it happen?!? GAH!"

I hate that it's making me question my rock-solid knowledge of all things Outlander.

Also, Laoghaire looks like a guinea pig. I never paid much attention to the casting other than Jamie and Claire, so she and Geillis both took me by surprise, and I was not impressed at all. Geillis is way too tiny.

But yes, shirtless Jamie is flawless. I could listen to him whisper "Lass" over and over and over. And over.
