Family Practice or PCP dr
I haven't been to my PCP in about 2 years and I wasn't thrilled with him anyway so I'm looking for a new one in the North Hills/Franklin Park/Wexford area. Suggestions? I usually go to Dr Heil at Northern Area Family Medicine but would like to see a female
On a different note - all you that are no longer having babies - do you see your PCP or an internist regularly now for routine tests or check up/physical? I still see my OB/Gyn but thought I should see a more general dr on a regular basis as well.

I still see a gyno separately for that annual exam.

I loved seeing Dr. Gold (he has offices in Zelie, Passavant, and Cranberry), but I know not eveyrone is crazy about his bedside manner (very short, and to the point). But, he always kept to schedule and as long as you went for an annual once a year, you didn't have to go in if you were sick; you could just call in to the nurse and they would call in the script for you.
He also has a female doctor on staff, who is very nice.
I do still see an OB/GYN, which reminds me that I have to find one down here. Maybe now that we're all back in a school schedule I can get on that one. lol
