  Yea. I'm pretty bummed about it but this layoff and stuff going on with my boss is making my job a little unsteady right now. Plus a lot of people are like "well.. maybe we'll come..." I just don't want to drop a ton of cash on beer for an event that no one will show up to. If H was working, I would be fine with it but right now, he isn't and that money would be better spent elsewhere. Thanks for checking on us though

  @court115 Lay offs are the worst. Every winter we deal with the possibility of it happening (usually it does) and it's so freaking stressful. I hope everything on the job front resolves quickly!

  Thanks. They're the worst! This one just sucks because we were told it was a 2 year job and it lasted 5 weeks. Funding fell through or something. I don't know. All I know is H, and the 30 other people who were laid off with him, were completely blindsided. He's starting a side business with his friend to do renovations and home repairs to ease the lay off hits but still...
