  I'm thankful for my trip to Los Angeles last weekend, that I was financially able to go at all but mostly for all the amazing people I spent time with there.

  My mom had a partial knee replacement done this morning, so I'm thankful that everything went well with the surgery.

  I'm thankful that my interview went well yesterday and that I have another one scheduled for next week. I'll take the feast of interviews over the famine of nothing for the past few months. I really feel like things are looking up!

  I am thankful nobody got hurt in the accident I was in! I am thankful my insurance may actually be giving me some $ for my car ! I was very worried because my car was 14 years old and I had a $500 deduct able today they sent me a quote of what I am getting ( which may be adjusted when they get the actual miles but they have it down as 100k and I don't think I have more then 105k so I should be getting close to what they said) and that will be enough for a good size down payment!!!

  I'm thankful that I still live close to my family (although I'd never admit that out loud!).  My mom and younger brother now live 30 minutes away while my dad and youngest brother live about an hour drive.  I didn't think I'd miss being part of their lives when I got married and moved out, but I do!  So I'm thankful I can see them on a moment's notice.

  I'm thankful for my loving, supportive H.  Although he can't do anything at night, he wakes up with me and O and generally stays awake for all of her feedings.  I was doubting my mothering abilities this week and he has done nothing but support me and tell me what a great job I'm doing.  I would not be able to parent without him.

  I'm very thankful today for my co-workers. We got the official word that I'm getting moved from 2nd to 1st grade. While I was already thankful I wasn't having to move classrooms, we found out today I wasn't going to be given any days without kids to move all of the 2nd grade materials out and the 1st grade materials in, plus any other changes I needed to make (If I'd known yesterday, this would've been a major WTF Wednesday rant). My wonderful 2nd grade team graciously said they would take their new kids a day early (tomorrow) so that I could prepare my room. 

  
  

  I'm also incredibly thankful for my H and my friend Brittany for being willing to take time tomorrow to come to school and help me get prepared while I'm completely overwhelmed.

  I am thankful that one of my coworkers was nice enough to share some of her crops with me and H. Had corn on the cob as a side dish with dinner tonight. Amazing!!
