Because I had a major food baby going on. It was straight up embarrassing.
Meanwhile, my contribution to the food day was a major success! I was annoyed that other departments had signed up for dessert and breakfast before we even had a chance to consider our options (you know I like to bring desserts!), so I decided to be lazy and volunteered to bring Italian bread. I stopped at Acme on my way to work this morning and grabbed 2 loaves. Girls, you would have thought it was manna from heaven the way people were raving about it! People I had never even seen before tracked me down to ask where I got it. It was crazy!
