16 and one month TO THE DAY, because that used to be the earliest you could get it in IN.

16 years 6 months 5 days. We could get permit at 16 (went on my bday) and take the test after 6 months of permit in PA. I had to wait 5 days for Saturday to come lol.

I was 16...I turned 16 in December and got my license in September. My mom wouldn't let me learn to drive in the snow, so I didn't really start driving until the spring. Finally, I mom let me schedule my road test, but I couldn't get an appointment for a few weeks. Waiting for my road test felt like FOREVER!!!

I think I got my G1 6 months after I turned 16. I didn't get my G2 until I was 18 because there is such a long wait time for a road test since all the city drivers come up to my small town and do their tests here. I got my G a couple years ago and my mom still won't let me drive anywhere and grips the door handle every time I do actually drive her someplace.

18. I just had no desire to get it when my friends did. I finally caved once I was starting college.

16 about 3 weeks before my 17th birthday. I didn't get my permit for about 4 months after I turned 16. I was afraid to drive and then I had to get it because driver's ed was starting and I had already signed up and paid.

I was 18. I got my first car before I got my license so that pushed me to go get it.

I was 20 just shy of my 21st birthday. About a month after I got my license I had to go back to mva to have my license switched to the over 21 layout which cost me another fee.

I got my permit as soon as I turned 15, my license the day after I turned 16. It was raining really badly on my birthday, so we waited a day. They don't do appointments in TN (at least they didn't) which really sucks, you show up and it can take foreverrrrrr.

I got my permit at 16 and took drivers ed. Finished drivers ed about a month before I turned 17 and at that time you could only get something like a junior license before 17 so I waited to take the test til after my birthday.

I got my G1 at 19...and let it expire. I don't have a license. I hate driving. A lot. Especially in the winter.

I should probably get it soon before DS starts doing sports and activities.
