Update on my crazy life
I haven't been on here much latley so I figure an update would be appropriate. My DH has been dealing with major health issues. He had mucus in his lungs since January and has been coughing it up ever since. Well he woke up on Thursday Aug. 7 and couldn't get out of bed, literally. He said he had extreme chills at 3am. I helped him up and took him to the ER after his doctor told him to go there. He was admitted and after sometime they diagnosed him with phnomenia, a staph infection, and fungus in his lungs. His pulmonary doctor also told him he has a lung condition called Bronicalestatis and there is no cure, only treatment. The infectious disease doctor doesn't agree with this diagnosis and said he only has a fungus called aspergillosis, which takes 8 months to cure. Today we are going up to a special lung hospital for a second opinion since these two doctors here are not agreeing and we are not sure who to believe. I am scared for him and hope he really doesn't have the lifelong lung condition.
So with him being sick I have been very busy doing everything around here. Plus, I am stressed about starting my new job and worried about my long commute. Liliana has been great. She doesn't talk yet but runs everywhere and is very smart with fine motor skills. She drinks out of an open cup and loves to take things out of packages and put them back in. Oh and we leave for a family vacation to North Carolina on Sunday. I am super excited to get away!
