OK I have a confession to make... H and I signed up for cable. I know! I swore I didn't need it! But H really REALLY wanted to be able to watch sports, and he got a deal for $56/month for two years. I'll admit, I've totally been hooked to HGTV this past week. I'm making up for all those years where I was cable-less.
Hopefully the MM gods won't strike me down.
Do you have a MM confession to make?

My MM confession is that we just paid off our cruise for next May to the tune of $1300 for the week. We are trying to pay down our underwater mortgage by spring (thus the second job)as well as add little more to our house DP( which won't be 20%), and we haven't yet opened up Roth's for ourselves (we do have 401K's, but are waiting on the ROTH until after we buy a house), but guess what? I don't care!! YOLO!! We are in good financial standing otherwise.
I have a $10/month Planet Fitness membership I haven't used in over a year. I keep putting off cancelling cause you have to do it in person and it's awkward.

Ok, I'll do it this month, I swear.

My MM confession is I spent $86 on Victoria's Secret credit card last week because I had only 2 bras that fit me and my dog keeps eating my underwear. I know I could shop cheaper, but I just love their stuff... I've already adjusted my budget to pay it off next pay.
I also didn't take cash out for my allowance for these 2 weeks, so I've spent way too much too quickly.
I have so many MM confessions I hardly know where to start! Travel is definitely our biggest one:
This past May, we super-splurged on a two-week vacation in Hawaii for our 5-year anniversary. Total cost was about $12K. Yes, you read that right.
I saved for the trip for two years and we did not go into debt for it at all, so I don't feel one bit guilty. Even though I know we could have done a LOT of other things with that money, we had an absolutely amazing time and if lightning was to strike us down tomorrow, I'd rather cherish the memories of that trip than have a few more home improvement projects done or more money in savings.
