Re: Weekend Plans?

  • Friday-One of my best friends is coming to visit from DC! I'm so excited! She and her BF have a wedding nearby and are staying with us.

Saturday-My first 11 mile long run as part of my half marathon training. Eek! Them we want to mulch around some of our plants and unpack some long-procrastinated boxes.

Sunday-Working at church daycare, watching the Pats, and then teaching a snorkeling class

  • Friday- groceries and cleaning (aka hiding boxes in closets and doing the bathrooms and floors).
Saturday- garage sale in the am. A really big community is having a sale so I'm excited. I'm all about repurposing and refinishing furniture so I'm hoping to find some fun and unique peices for the house on the cheap. After that beignets for breakfast with my sister and possibly some pool time depending upon how much I accomplish today.
Sunday we are having some friends and any neighbors who can make it over for a football/ 30th birthday party. I'm excited to meet my neighbors and think this will be a fun way to do it.

  • Tonight - nothing planned, which makes me excited

Saturday - mow the lawn, trim the hedges, unpack boxes

Sunday - more of the same... though possibility of running to Atlanta to buy a couch from Ikea.  It depends on how far we get on Saturday.

Friday- H is going out with friends and I am going with my mom to pick up her new kitten.

Saturday- Cleaning all morning and hopefully a date night with H. Just the two of us. Never ends up happening though so I am trying to not get too excited.

Sunday- He will have grading to finish and I will be doing homework all day. Sunday is napping day here so we will grab a two hour nap before dinner time. I think it is the best part of our week.

ETA: We are having the debt payoff talk this weekend as well so on Monday we should have a decisison on that.

  • Friday night--Calculus homework, fun!

Saturday--bake and decorate a cake for a customer; hopefully go see The Giver since it just came to our theater and we haven't been to a movie in ages

Sunday--deliver cake, household chores, possibly paint the hallway if H gets all the trim installed.

We already had our first snow (!!!!!) so if there's time in there this weekend, we will probably putter around the yard and get things winterized.  I am not okay with snow this early!

    OMG.

It was in the high 90's here today.  I think September is actually our hottest month... or maybe by September we're just all over it.

a fellow yogi huh? :)  I'm in love with yoga and wish I could do it more.  I'm good to average 2-3 times a week with our schedules.  Do you teach at a yoga studio?

  • Today, I need to get my eye brows done and get some shopping done.  I desperately need some new clothes.  I also wanted to walk around the lake to get some exercise in, but it feels cold, and it might rain.

Tomorrow - No plans, and I hope it stays that way.

It goes up and down for me depending on the time of year, but right now I'm able to take 3-4x/week which is awesome. I use to teach at a studio but it closed :-(  I've been teaching at a gym for the last year which I was a little wary of intially, but they have a huge yoga program & have blocks/straps available and I have a ton of regulars.  It's a lot of fun to teach, as long as I keep it to a class a week.
  • Last night we ran to the store for some perishable items that we don't buy in bulk during our monthly shopping trip. Then we stayed in the rest of the night and finished all of the cleaning/laundry for the week. This morning SO is working 9-1, so I'm at home waiting for him. Then we are going to go out to lunch. Tomorrow we are going to the Lego Expo (LOL). We got the tickets on Groupon, and my SO loves Legos.
  • yesterday we didn't do anything...I started crock-pot stew earlier in the day, so we enjoyed that.

today-short run with the dog, cleaning, errands, piecing our bedroom backtogether after we put a fresh coat of paint on in last weekend. probably some drinks with friends tonight (at their house so very MM)

tomorrow-9 mile run...we'll see how long the dog can go.

Thanks Bri! It went great. I was pretty nervous because last week's 10 became a 6 due to humidity. This was a good confidence boost. Hope you had an awesome 14! When is your race?

I can't believe there has been snow already! I live in CT and our summer has been relatively cool with little humidity which is not the norm for us. This week it's only going to be around 70 degrees and it's only September. I feel a loooong, cold winter ahead.

I'm NOT ready for winter! I love having all four seasons but I can't fathom another nasty winter. :(
