I have a wonderful story to share
This is a bit long, so bear with me...
I took 6 years between high school and university to figure out what I was doing. In that time, I had a job in retail where I worked with a woman named Carol, who was a bit older than my Mom. At the time, I was living 6 hours from home and Carol became a second Mom to me. We were very close. Carol was diagnosed with cancer and died 11 years ago.
About the same time she died, I got accepted to grad school and ended up dedicating my thesis to her. I didn't remember this, but I sent a card to her husband at Christmas in 2004, about a year and a half after she died, to tell him about the thesis.
My Mom called me this morning to tell me that Carol's husband called her looking for me (my last name has changed and I moved) and gave her his phone number so I could call him. So, I called. He had been cleaning out a china cabinet and found the card that I sent and then went online and found my thesis. So, he called to thank me and tell me how much I meant to Carol. What a wonderful conversation we had. We were both in tears when we hung up, but it was such a great moment and I feel so great about the conversation we had.

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
DE IVF ER - 12/2/2016 (17R/10F = 8 frosties); FET 1.0 (1/27/2017) - BFP 6dp5dt (EDD 10/16/2017)
