I survived!
Last week, hubs and I DROVE to Nashville TN on Sunday.... drove to Memphis and back to Nashville on Monday, and then drove all the way home on Friday. So... what did I miss? Anything exciting? I know Baby E is still cooking. That's about it.
Nashville was awesome. I'm not ready to be back at work, though. We saw a show at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday night. The headliner was Scotty McCreery. He was pretty good. I'm not exactly jumping up and down for Scotty McCreery though. On Wednesday, we saw Jason Mraz play at the Ryman Auditorium. That show was freaking AWESOME. And he brought out Lennon & Stella Maisie (the daughters on Nashville, if you watch that show) to sing one of his songs with him. It was really cool. I could listen to Jason Mraz all day. He recorded the record with this band Raining Jane. They're 4 friends from UCLA who have been a band for like 15 years, and they've been collaborating with Mraz for the past 7 years. They're awesome. They also play with Ingrid Michaelson sometimes.
