BR Question

If you liked The Hunger Games and Divergent what are some other similar type books that would be good to read. I really want to find something good while I wait on my holds to come in at the library. TIA for any suggestions.

Re: BR Question

  • The Delirium series by Lauren Oliver
The Under the Never Sky series by Veronica Rossi

  • This is a somewhat older list, but that increases the chance that you won't have to wait, right?

  • More Than This, by Patrick Ness is a really really good read. It's a little different from HG or Divergent, but it's still a sci-fi/dystopian type book. I loved it and sped through it.  I'm a Patrick Ness pusher, though. I love his books.

    Dystopian
Blood Red Road by Moira Young
    Legend by Marie Lu
    Cinder by Marissa Meyer

    Dystopian, slightly horror
    Enclave by Ann Aguirre

    More fantasy, non-dystopian
The Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

I vote against Delirium by Lauren Oliver. The first book is pretty good, the second is okay, and the third is incredibly boring. You didn't ask for non-dystopian, but the series by Taylor and Bardugo are some of my favorite YA.
