Sunday

What are you up too?

I am working on laundry and watching the game.  I really like the Seahawks uniform.

Re: Sunday

  • Watching the game and waiting for pizza to be delivered. Yum
  • Pizza!  YUM

I am having tandoori chicken.  I am helping my mom look at possible destination wedding spots including ones in CO.
  • Yard work, yard work, and more yard work. :)

Went to Starbucks, Target, and Panera after Joy got off work....

  • DH worked on grading papers most of the day. When he was done with that he had an assignment for his college class. Then we went to his parents house so he could fix their computer.

It was a long weekend in general.

Went our for my very belated birthday dinner on Friday night (I make J go somewhere out of his comfort zone once every year, and we have an excuse to spend a little more on dinner than we normally would) and it was delicious.

Saturday we worked on the house, then went out for my (I hope) future SIL's 21st birthday. They give away these humongous drinks for your birthday at a nearby restaurant, and she needed some help drinking it. I still ended up drinking too much.

Then on Sunday, I finished staining the front door, and went out to this dinner with my MIL and the people I used to garden for. Apparently, it was a hundred dollar a plate... @-) but it was delicious. I also had a taste of 28 year old wine, a $300 dollar wine, and won the wine tasting...

  • Why did you have to go with the? Were they paying for that!?  Also how to I get friends like that?
  • I had to go with SIL (I am assuming that's what you meant) because PA is bass ackwards in their liquour laws, and if you have someone under the age of 21 at the table, no one who is over 21 can order alcohol unless someone 25 or older is there. BIL is younger than her, so someone had to go and be the "responsible adult." And by responsible adult, I mean I was more drunk than them!

And yes, these people paid a 100 a plate for four of us. I still have a $70 bottle of wine they gave me that I can't bear to open! And I have no idea how to get friends like that. I'm still not quite sure how I got to go...
