Baby Brain Moments...

I've had a bad baby brain week that started with me forgetting my desk keys on Monday morning and ended yesterday with me forgetting my car keys in a friends car at lunch and making her drive back to work on a Friday evening. (Apparently I have an issue with keys this week.)

I know we all have these moments...and I've heard it doesn't stop after birth.

Who has some good ones???

Re: Baby Brain Moments...

  • I know I've had a few moments over the past couple of weeks, but now I can't remember them...  :-/

  • Seriously, pregnancy brain is no joke. When I was pregnant with Adalyn, I forgot to pay multiple bills, I paid for my food at McDonald's at the first window then drove right past the second window and had to go back for my food, I could barely remember what day it was, the list goes on. As frustrating as it is, it does get better after baby. I won't lie though, your memory will never be as good as it was before kids. Lol

  • When we were moving I lost our keys to the moving truck and spent an hour looking for them only to find them safely stashed on the fireplace mantle. Today I was taking DS outside, and got his sweater on and got myself ready to go and told him to go ahead of me out the door . He was about to step outside and goes, 'mommy, my shoes!'. I forgot to put my kids shoes on! Thank goodness my 2yr old is on the ball.

  • I just can't remember anything. My parents went to San Diego for July 4th. Apparently I asked my mom 3 times the week before what day they were leaving. If I don't write it down it won't get done. The walls of my desk at work are covered in sticky notes. It's ridiculous! Ha
