Re: FFC Saturday edition
While we generally have an idea of who is showing people tend to vary on when they show up and sometimes people come who didn't say they were coming and other times people don't come who said they were coming. This generally isn't an issue as most places deal with it gracefully.
But never the hibachi places. Now keep in mind, this particular one has a TON of tables in it. So I walk in and of course I'm the first one there. The guy asks how many. Told him I wasn't sure. It was a group and I wasn't the coordinator, but that it was at least 7 (ended up being 10). Guy got very irritated and told us to go sit over in the waiting area until EVERYBODY showed up.
I can understand them not wanting to take orders and cooking until the entire group was there, but why can't they give us a table in the back somewhere and just have us start seating at one end and keep going until we run out of table? We ended up using about 1/2 of the two table setup, there were still other empty tables while we were there, and they didn't seat anybody else with us.
Not a good place for a group like ours, but the group loves it, so we go there.....:(
And that is sucky, Mark. Did they have a bar area? The hibachi place in OK that we liked had a bar so you could go sit there if you were waiting or if you just wanted to sit there.
Hope you enjoyed the pizza!
