Do you think that you are addicted to your phone?

I hate my phone, I wish the iPhone didn't exist. No one ever looks up from the damn things. When I get home at night I plug it in and try to leave it alone until I wake up again the next morning.

Nope. I can forget my phone at home or work and be ok. H on the other hand will freak out, but to his credit he uses it a lot for work.

Nothing makes me happier than going on a vacation and taking a break from my phone. I was on it constantly when I was on maternity leave. I am trying to not to use it much when I'm home with H and the baby.

I did forget it at home yesterday and felt a little lost. Mostly because it is more difficult to communicate with whoever is caring for the baby. But, we all survived unscathed.

I don't think so, but if I lost it I would freak out. For the most part I ignore it the second I get home.

Only at work. When I'm not dealing with patients I'm forever checking my email, Facebook, Twitter, here...but I barely look at it when I'm at home or when I'm out.

I'll admit that I spend too much time on it during the day when I don't want to work. But days when I leave it home, I'm fine

I think I have a good balance. I use my phone all the time, but I know how to put it away too. H and I never have our phones out when we're eating dinner and I've never been one of those rude people who never looks up from their phone when they're talking to you (one of my peeves!). I'm sure that when I'm walking around DC I look like I'm attached to my phone, but in reality I have no clue where I'm going and I'm just using Google Maps LOL!

Since I work in a high school, and they all definitely are, it reminds me to actually pay attention to real life more...I like playing stupid games on it and facebooking a little, but like, I've left it at home and not had a panic attack. I told my students this and they flipped the eff out. Amazing what perspective a 10 year age gap gives you.

Eh i play with it out of boredom. But if we're out to eat or something I'd rather neither of us have it out.

I can't use my phone at work so I'm fine without it. H makes fun of the fact that I will leave it in my car or at home all the time. Tho I do play with it a lot at home and when I am out and need something to keep me busy.

I'm not addicted but I am reliant on it for sure. We don't have a home phone so D and I BBM throughout the day on our Blackberrys. I also use it as my business phone.

When we are both home though we usually leave them in our room or something, but I'd be pretty upset if I lost it.

Eh it depends, in my office I have bare minimum service so I don't pay attention to it and at home I put it down and forget about it. I will grab it for pics or video of DD. I think I'm more addicted to my iPad than anything else.
