Recommend your Christmas Gift projects

I like making gifts for family and friends when I can but don't like to do stuff that is useless or looks like something my child could have made...any great ideas?

Re: Recommend your Christmas Gift projects

  • If you know how to knit or crochet, you can make hats, scarves, or socks.  If you don't know how to do either, you can learn at least the basics on youtube.

If you do a search for "diy gifts" you'll get a lot of options to scroll through.  A lot will be useless, and a lot will be geared for children, but once you start seeing some ideas, you'll be able to hone in your search inquiries, and get results that are actually useful.

The past few years we've just stuck with stocking stuffers between families.  Something small is much easier to make yourself without spending a fortune on supplies, or spending a ton of time learning a complicated skill.
  • What about food gifts? Like homemade vanilla, infused vodka or cookie mixes?

What have you made in the past?
  • I usually just stick to knitted stuff.  Sometimes jewelry.
Here are some potentially good ideas.  At least some of them....
