  I'm dreading having a discussion with my MIL that will most likely lead to an argument because I know she's going to get defensive.  I have to be the one who has the discussion because H has a hard time articulating the real issue.

  I've been separated for two weeks and feel like it is getting harder instead of easier. I know that's how most things go, but daaaaaamn.

  Another teacher asked me for something and I said no. But then I felt bad and figured out a solution, so I brought him what he asked for and he looked at me like I was crazy/he had no idea what I was doing. So, yay for doing nice things for others!   I just found 5 bottles of wine that I hid in the basement back in 2002.  One of them is a bottle of Chianti that my aunt brought me back from Italy.

  
  

  I am totally not telling my husband about them and I am going to enjoy them all myself.

  This is probably a confession from the past 4 Fridays. Instead of working from home as I should be,cleaning the house, or anything else productive, I have spent it watching The Vampire Diaries on Netflix.

  I just finished the a certain part in my Outlander re-read, and this particular part (very near the end) is just so damn hard to read again!!! I'm struggling to keep it together, since I'm reading on my computer at work. Ugh.

  I feel really bad.  I narced on a co-worker today.  We were at a training for administering tests and she was blatantly telling people at her table how to cheat.  I jumped in and warned that a few teachers had been caught doing that last year and got written up.  She insisted it was perfectly fine so I told her I would double check with our supervisor to be sure.  Our supervisor had to address it and now I know I've made an enemy but cheating on state tests can lose you your job and certification.  It's one thing to do it yourself but another to pass it off as okay to others who are new to the system.

  I had alcohol and candy corn for dinner. After a long day off spent preparing healthy and tasty freezer meals. Nothing I do ever makes sense. They were just too pretty to eat right away and I forgot to make anything for dinner. I'm going to pretend that picking at all the healthy food all day cancels out the awful dinner.
