In an effort to revive the board, how was everyone's weekend? I know it's not over yet but I have the Monday sads. Why can't weekends be longer?!
Friday we ended up having dinner with my parents and then I went to see my gram at the hospital. She went to a nursing home Saturday and she's upset about it so I'm glad I got to see her when I did in better spirits.
Yesterday we went for lunch and did a little shopping. It was so nice to get out!
Today we had church and all of our family came to hear DH deliver the sermon. We had lunch afterwards.

Re: How was your weekend?

"You know you're in love when you don't want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." - Dr. SeussFriday night was pizza night and was probably the highlight of my weekend
Yesterday I woke up with an upset stomach and puppy was super needy (read I was tired and easily annoyed) all day and running errands was super hot and semi-disappointing (trying to find some maternity clothes and spend $10 Carter's rewards on something other than white onesies since we don't know the gender = fail). Also DH was at work from 10p Friday to 6p Saturday and then came home and passed out on the couch which meant I couldn't clean the kitchen and had to practically attach myself to the puppy so she didn't bug him. I don't know why he thought the couch was a better idea than the bed for his 3 hour nap before going back to work at 10p until noon today.
Today puppy slept in which was wonderful but I've had one of those nauseous days where I'm hungry but have zero idea what I want so I've been eating garbage and feeling worse. I also have zero motivation to work overtime on the couch but know we need the extra money.
So overall, I'm whiny. It wasn't a horrible weekend, just uneventful and unmotivated.
@Uptowngirl2009 - Sorry to hear about your grandma. Hopefully she's able to progress and come home soon (obvi don't kbow the situation but I hope that's an option for her.).
@Apollo11235 - Congrats, again!
As for my gram, it may be an option for her to go home but I don't see it happening. My mom is the only one of five siblings that has been taking care of her at home and trying to keep her at home and she just can't keep doing it. So we will see what happens.

I spent Thursday - today in DC for a college friend's wedding. It was an absolutely amazing weekend, and tomorrow is going to be rough. I absolutely loves spending four days in a row with B. And my H. It was our first vacation since our honeymoon three years ago and the first consecutive four days that we've had off as a family since H's paternity leave.
Ben had so much fun at the wedding and totally passed out the second we put him in the car.
Ftr, this is Ben passed out on the hotel bed, not the car, lol.

@Uptowngirl2009 - Sounds like a rough situation but hopefully you can al least get her somewhat happy with where she is. My grandmother absolutely refused moving in with anyone or going to assisted living until her final days. She wasn't in need of constant care but when things went downhill for her, it was only a matter of days. It was extremely hard at the time, but looking back I realize that she got exactly what she wanted in terms of living situation which made her happy. Grandparents and their living situations always seems to get sticky
