Throne of Glass series (ns)

So I'm about 15% into Throne of Glass and I feel like I'm going to get swept up. Is this going to be the next Seven Realms-like obsession?

Also, can someone confirm for me that if I do not turn on the wifi on my Kindle that I won't lose my library loan? Can I close the book? I won't just in case, but I just don't want to wait a few days for a physical copy to come in or be on the waiting list for the digital.

Don't turn on your wifi and you should be fine.

I need to try this one again. I think @j*&p* told me to give it another try, but the MC bothered me in the beginning.

I have enjoyed this series so far. Not a seven realms OHEMGEE type reaction, but I do fly through them!

Oh my gosh, I lurve these books. The very beginning of book 1 was kind of a snooze for me, though. In fact, I would have put it down, had I not followed Sarah J. Maas and a few other girls on a writing blog for a long time, but man, once it got going, I was totally sucked in and obsessed with all of the characters and their lives. The 3 or 4 prequel novellas are fantastic too.

I'm almost done with Heir of Fire (book 3) and it expanded the story and the world in so many different directions that my head is kind of exploding.

@snshne322, post when you finish. I want to see what you thought at the end of the first book.

@Lauren620, Celeana can be pretty prickly. I totally get her being off-putting to people, especially at the beginning of the books, but there is a lot of heart underneath as you learn more about her background.

I am about 70% done Throne of Glass and it's really good. I hear the next two books are even better than the first. Its a cross between the Hunger Games and The Selection. I am enjoying!! And it's a 6 book series! So excited!
