Okay, I will be upfront in that I do have babies on the brain BUT I thought that I would miss out on some of the "are you starting a family soon" stuff since I married another woman! Not the case. The morning after the wedding when we were checking out of our hotel, the lady asked us, and then told us how her and her partner have twins. AHHH! It has been just over a week and I have heard it probably 5 times. Which, is frustrating due to me having some fertility issues and childbearing would be extremly hard, if even possible!

Just politely let them know that it isn't something you're currently interested in. Even if it is, it's none of their business.

i would probably just respond with, we just got married, babies are not on our to do list at the moment

Congrats on your marriage... I would probably just tell people you'd like to enjoy being married first before bringing kids into the mix.

Ditto everyone else. Just tell them when you're ready to start a family they'll be the first to know. Insert a little sarcasm in there too. I used to do it all the time.
