Bear 4 month checkup

so my kid is big, but like solid....not chunky.

he's 25.5" tall and 15lbs 10oz which puts him in the 55% for weight. which I was suprised about! he seems so big to me that I thought he would be really big for his age.

he was all smiling and laughing for the doctor until he got his shots then he cried for a second. he's a tough guy though and the crying stopped quickly.

i've never cried when he's gotten a shot. I feel bad about that...

that is all.

  • Awe at least he's right in the middle. He just seemed so much bigger than E! And I love he was a tough guy. Did they mention his awesome outfit?

Neither have I....and I feel horrible about it, but glad I'm not the only one :). Sounds like he's growing nicely! Can't believe he is 4 months already!

  • Awww Bear's getting so big!

I haven't cried when Max has gotten his shots either...

I thought Max seemed huge too, until I took him to his 4 month appointment last month and they said he was only in the 15th percentile (14 lb 4 oz and 24 in) turns out he's just a little peanut!

  • I've never cried either. I always thought that would make his crying worse as if seeing me cry would make him think that he should cry too. He normally cries for about half a second anyway and then he'll move on to playing with the band-aid or asking for a snack.

  • When A was 5 he had to get like 4 shots. It took me and another nurse bear hugging him while the other nurse did the injections, all while he was screaming, "THEYRE TRYING TO KILL ME!!" I laughed the entire time.

  • @mammersoh‌ That is hysterical!!

I did cry a little when she got her first shots.

Sounds like he is doing great!! M averages between 55-70%. Except her head that's in the 90's. Trust me, I knew she had a big head. ;)
