Gone Girl Movie (spoilers)
Who saw it this weekend? Thoughts?
I thought they did a very good job condensing it all into a movie and that it was excellent. But... weren't we promised a different ending? Or am I thinking of something else? I was positive that there was supposed to be a different ending so that those who read the book would have something different to look forward to being revealed. If I had known it was going to be exactly the same ending, I could have waited for it to hit DVD. Instead I rushed out opening weekend to make sure the *new* ending wasn't inadvertently spoiled for me. I could have saved $40.
At least we went to a matinee -- the damage to my wallet could have been even worse!

I closed my eyes during the scene where she takes Desi out, haha. I would have nightmares for weeks if I had watched that scene
