Highs: Hanging out with my sister and seeing Gone Girl. IT WAS SO GOOD. I loved the book, and I think they did an excellent job of adapting it for screen. It also didn't hurt that Gillian Flynn wrote the screenplay.

Lows: Had a bad experience at Red Robin. I ordered a plain cheeseburger with just burger and cheese to go, and they gave me all kinds of things on my burger that I didn't want. When I brought it back inside, they refired the burger, and I guess they also have to refire the fries as well. My burger was right, but my fries were RAW. RAW FRENCH FRIES. So gross.

Highs: We went to the zoo yesterday morning with friends and had a really nice time

Lows: We moved the laundry to the basement and are in the process of turning that room into a mud room for coats, bags, shoes. So my Saturday 9a-9p was keeping the girls out of there while N worked...and then yesterday he had to keep them out so I could start painting. It was terrible. C stood at the gate and screamed all weekend for whoever was in the room, and with nothing in the room it echoed VERY loudly. And it didn't help that we're both exhausted and already over the renovation and it's nowhere near being done. Ugh.

Highs - T and I had a great time at Jill's housewarming! Her house is beautifl and T wanted to live in the bouncy house. Then we had a great time at my parents'.

Lows - Aunt Flow came to visit.

weekend high: we had so much fun! Ben's aunt's and his cousin were in town to celebrate his mom's birthday and then yesterday my aunt and uncle who were in Baltimore visiting my cousin came to visit us....so we had lots of family time and Bear got to meet a lot of people!

low: we were sooo busy! next weekend I don't want to do anything

Another high, I also helped a lesbian couple pick out makeup for their wedding, and it totally made my weekend. They were super adorable. They said they were going to a wedding, but didn't say that it was THEIR WEDDING.

Highs: firepit at my brother's house..haven't been there in awhile, so it was good to see them, EAGLES win, and getting stuff started for L's birthday party

Lows: realizing that the high chair banner and regular Happy Birthday banners that I've been picturing for L's party aren't going to happen...first of all there is zero way to get them in time and they cost $20-40 a piece, which I refuse to pay. Gonna go to Joann's tomorrow to get stuff to make my own

Highs...Lots of family time. We went to Milburn and M and I decorated for Halloween. She was so excited to help put the decos out and she had huge grins when I plugged in the pumpkins and ghost lights. Makes me even more excited for Christmas this year!

Lows...Just that I feel guilty that I didn't do many of the "normal" chores (cleaning) that need to be done.
