    It seems exchanges have been non existent for a while :-( There are always those people who ruin for everyone (don't send their gift) and no one seems to participate anymore.

    Last Halloween was the last exchange here right?
    Did some people really flake out on giving?  That's crap.  People suck.  I do remember an incident with someone not acknowledging or thanking someone else for their gift.

    I believe we had a banishment last year, but I can't remember who, and I think it may have been forgiven eventually.

    Yes, I remember some sort of banishment. I think she fessed up, pleaded for mercy, and was forgiven. I can't remember who it was though.

    Right right right.  So Halloween was the last gifty exchange, and then we did a bookmark exchange earlier this year.

    I was thinking that too.  To set up, send, and receive would be cutting it too close I think.
    What about doing a thanksgiving or christmas themed one this year?

    Sadly, yes.  I was the person who ratted her out.  We had one horribly flaky person who never acknowledged their gift, not even a cursory thanks I got it or anything.  And she had a prior history of suckage with follow through so she promised to take herself out of the running from future exchanges.  Since she has recused herself and doesn't appear to have posted here since, I'll refrain from naming names.  Hopefully the grumpy buggers are weeded out now.  

    That being said, I'd participate again if we do one, but I don't want to be the coordinator.

    I do remember this because it was a double flake.  Not acknowledging receipt of gift and then not sending out one until real, real late after the date.  Despite feeling somewhat burned because I was the receiver of the "thrown together at the last minute to not get banned" gift (I know that makes me sound catty), I still want to do exchanges.  I still remember the delicious cookies @PackFan sent me during one exchange.  MMM! MMM! MMM!

    Maybe we could do a Holiday Exchange set for around mid-December? If I can figure out how, I would be glad to coordinate it. I think we used Elfster when I participated a few years ago. I could start a new thread just to see how many people would be interested.
