Can you girls send up some T&Ps for my family. Major drama with my sister, I don't even know where to start.
I've mentioned before how much my parents have always had to help her out, buying everything for her and her family. They buy their school clothes every year, my sister drives my dad's work truck, etc. In case you forgot, my sister is 39, and her kids are now 22 and almost 19. So really, all 3 should be out working. My nephew has moved on and is more self sufficient. My niece just started back to school (she still has 2 years left) and finally got a job at the restaurant my sister works at. I stay out of it but I hate how they treats our parents (never calls or comes over until she needs something). Now, I guess my sister is just walking away from her house. Which I wouldn't really care, but my parents are on the mortgage. My niece told them they have to go to court Wednesday for what we think is a foreclosure hearing.
My sister has been ignoring their calls and texts until this morning. When my mom asked about the court hearing, my sister told my mom she's known since March my niece is using heron, but didn't say anything because of my pregnancy. I don't know what my pregnancy has to do with not telling my parents. Seems like a distraction to me. Then, she accused my mom of caring more about their credit then her family. Hard to care when you have no idea what's going on and keep offering to help.
My mom is beside herself and I'm really scared my dad is going to blow up when he finds all this out. Especially when my niece keeps coming over for money and here it's to buy drugs. I think my mom is done helping her out with all the lies and everything. I see my dad going and taking his truck back. It's such a mess right now. Jeff wants me to see if mom will come down to "help", but more just get her distracted. But I don't think dad being alone is good either.

Re: T&Ps
Your family, especially your parents, are totally in my T&Ps!
As for my niece, they obviously need to cut her off money wise. And push to get her help. But they're not really talking about that now.
My sister told my mom she's making payments and there's no more court, but I told her to call and confirm that.

Hello mana8503, Great to hear that you’re expecting a baby. Congrats! And, thanks for sharing about your sister. I’m so sorry that your parents are going through this with your sister. It’s pretty obvious that you care for them, and your frustration is understandable. Have you or your loved ones considered talking with a counselor? I hope you guys work through this. I’ll be praying for you and your entire family!
