NMMR: Running/Walking to Work
I'm considering running/walking to work to save money and gain some much needed exercise. I only work about 4 miles from home, but it's mostly country. The problem is we live in an open range county. Open range means you put up fences to keep things out not necessarily in. This means there are several dogs that run loose along where I would go. I'm terrified of getting but lol how would you deter the dogs?

Re: NMMR: Running/Walking to Work
Hi! How about getting a cheap bicycle? That may be an easier escape in case something happens.
If you decide to run, maybe a horn of some kind? LOL
Also want to say this may sound like a small change, but not paying gas even for just 8 miles a day can help change your budget since you were so tight, so congrats on thinking outside the box and trying to move the needle even more!
