Happy Friday! What are you reading?

Hopefully @alithebride has been out having wonderful adventures.

What are you reading this week? Is it for one of the challenges?

  • I am reading a kindle freebie called Replica. So far it is really good.
I am listening to Onyx by Jennifer L Armintrout (??)
  • Still working on The Firebird. I'm about 60% through now and getting into the story more and more.

I'm almost done with my re-listen of The Dream Thieves and I've got Rip-Off queued up when I finish. It's a short story anthology edited by John Scalzi where a bunch of writers started with a famous first line of someone else's work and wrote an original piece from there. Wil Wheaton is one of the narrators so I think it'll be fun.

    No challenges, just for fun.

  • I am reading The Pillars of the Earth, All I Ever Wanted and I just started Crushed by Sara Sephard.  They are all quite different and am enjoy them all so far.

Yup.  I just haven't had the time to just sit down and take a good chunk out of it.  I hope to make some progress this weekend.

  • I am reading House of Leaves. It is really dense and almost textbook like, which should hopefully make for good discussion. It will be somewhere over 100 for the year.

I also am reading the Alex Craft series to lighten things up.

  • Currently nothing. I'm waiting to reread HP#3 when I have time. I'm technically reading a giant book for the licensure exam I take in a month from tomorrow, along with notes and flash cards. I can't wait to read interesting stuff again!

  • I'm reading Big Little Lies. I'm enjoying it. I love the foreshadowing! It's #41 for the year.

    I'm listening to Voyager.

  • I started Wild by Cheryl Strayed about a month ago and just haven't had any time to get into it.  I think I'm only about 50 pages in.
    Books Read in 2016: 4/50

  • I finished A Sudden Light by Garth Stein. It was ok. I wanted it to be as good as The Art of Racing in the Rain, but it wasn't.

I also read The List by Siobhan Vivian. I flew through it, and it was a good read. Not particularly well written,  or a literary masterpiece, but I enjoyed it!

  • I finished Confessions by Kinae Minato and made some decent progress with Landline on audio.
