3T check in

If you have any changes to this list, wish to be removed, added, or have graduated (yay!), please shoot me a PM.

FYI: We don't want to exclude people, but this is a check in for ladies who are unfortunately having trouble trying to conceive (TTTC = 3T). If you've been trying for more than a year and/or have been diagnosed with any form of infertility OR are now pursuing adoption OR have decided to remain childless following a 3T journey, you are welcome to join us.

Updates: Ok ladies... where are we at this week? Testing, Procedures, Appointments, Adoption updates, Life updates? What's going on, etc. Let's here all about it!!

QOTW: Would you rather have a cabin high in the mountains, a cottage by the sea, or a ranch in the plains?

  • I started IM injections. I hate them. Luckily, it's mid-October which means FET is getting closer. I've been so hopeful. Since I know that we have two boys and a girl, I've gotten attached. I always let myself be full of hope and excitement because I'd rather enjoy the chance that it may work... But now fear has begun to appear. I'm scared. Based on the genetic testing and the fact that we are transferring 2, this clinic has a 79% success rate. So. If this doesn't work, we are advised to put the last embie in a surrogate. I can't quite accept that. And I shouldn't even be thinking about it, because 79%.

    Cabin in the woods.
IUI - BFP! Baby boy born still - August 2012
    IVF - BFP - miscarriage June 2013
    FET - BFN

  • <3 iloveredvino - good luck, dear! I so hope this is your happy ending! And good luck with the IM injections.. ick...

  • Just plugging along. No real updates except that my sister (who was going to TTC last month) is NOT pregnant. I feel awful being relieved, but it would have made things really hard for me and my family. She is not going to TTC until summer as she is in a wedding and realized that "maybe it was a sign that I was supposed to wait." Those were her words. After trying a month. Fertiles. SMH.

Cabin in the mountains of Switzerland. This is actually my goal for retirement! Too bad it's super hard to buy over there as an American.

  • Sending you ladies all lots of love!

Update: I'm waiting for my former PCP to send a referral to my RE because I do need one. I'm thinking they will probably want to see me which makes me upset because I hate going to doctors I don't know and my former PCP is in the process of leaving the practice. I've been with her since I was 17.

    QOTW: by the sea... Duh!
  • ILRV - May the odds be ever in your favor. ;) Seriously though, I have everything crossed for you!

RAB and OceanHutt - Keep up the good work on your weight loss! You're both doing fantastic!

Island - Good luck this cycle! Everything crossed!
