Job Offer for DH
My husband texted me to tell me the school he interviewed at Monday emailed him. It turns out the person they hired for the 4th grade job would rather take the position he interviewed for. They offered him the 4th grade spot for only $2,500 less than he is making now and said all teachers are required to tutor once a week and it is paid $30/ hr. He is going to take the job. I am so nervous about it being less money, but he is sure we can make it work. He said he'll tutor every day of the month if possible (if he can do that he'd actually he making more money than he is now). I am so happy for him to be able to work at a quality school with books and materials.
DH said the school he is working at now is like the Titanic, it is sinking, they could offer him a million dollars to stay, but it will still sink.
