How are you feeling? Slowing down a bit.  Getting Braxton Hicks contractions often, and have a lot of pressure down there. :-(

What are you craving? Cheese and sweets.

What is grossing you out? Meat

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Nope

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Midwife next Tuesday, ultrasound the Tuesday after.

Have you / will you found out the sex? Nope.  Still a surprise.

Any names picked out? Negative.  Still the running list and need to narrow that down.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? It still needs some finishing touches done.  Then we need the furniture, but are waiting until after our showers.

Anything else you would like to add or PIP? They have officially put me on no exercise, no heavy lifting, and only light cleaning.  I was having quite a bit of contractions and pressure last week, and finally gave in and called on Thursday.  Supposedly the high risk OB looked over my ultrasound and wanted to put me on restrictions then, but nobody called me (don't even get me started).  My cervix is shortening too quickly.  They told me that step #1 is to get to 24 weeks (viability), then our next progress step is to get to 27 weeks.  They will re-measure at my 24 week ultrasound, and that's when they will check the placement of the placenta too.

.....Oh but baby looks great and is growing beautifully.

Why thank you nurse.  Of course the baby is doing fine and my body isn't cooperating.  Surprise!
    Yes, thank you nurse.
    =D>
Silly nurses. They are just so dumb.

If I were you, I wouldn't even be doing light cleaning. I wouldn't lift a finger. Even those of us who make a living helping premies to survive have a hard time, ethically, with the fact that 24 weeks is considered "viable." Please put your feet up, take care of yourself, and try not to sneeze.
  • @brij2006 - I hope everything settles down!! Please don't do any cleaning or anything just take time to be still and relax. You NEED to give your body a little break from everything right now. Keep us updated.
