After a brutal week, I am soooo looking forward to the weekend spent with my boys.
I think I am going to convince DH that we should go to PoutineFest this weekend downtown (which is right near where the shooting happened but the city is opening back up and I think it would be nice to pay our respects at the monument while gorging on fries, gravy and cheese curds).
We also have a family eye appt tomorrow morning - exciting times.
We will also be working on the nursery. Painting is done. We have to finish the trim and hopefully my decals and art will show up soon! I bought a rug, some frames, a pillow and a lamp yesterday. After that it is just bedding and window coverings ![]()
And Sunday we are probably going to go to the pumpkin patch to get some fresh air and enjoy some cider.
What are you hot mamas up to this weekend?

Re: Weekend plans
The rest of the weekend we are trying to fix the house up the best we can. We need to get on this renovation project!

I have my NT scan this morning and then I'm coming home to hopefully sleep all day.
Tomorrow, the bride scheduled mani/pedi's at 9 am, then lunch, then gotta get ready for rehearsal and dinner. After dinner, all the girls will stay at the venue and watch wedding movies and relax before the big day.
Sunday, I've gotta get up at 5:45ish to get showered before hair and makeup arrives at 6:15. Wedding is at 11 am and I'm one of the first in line to get ready. After the wedding, we're helping with cleaning up and taking presents back to the couples place.
I'm just really hoping these meds work some magic and I'm better by tomorrow. If not, this weekend is going to really suck.
DH works pretty much all weekend. Stupid football game tomorrow at like 3:30 so I probably won't see him between 10p tonight and church on Sunday morning. So what's a girl to do but some retail therapy?! I'm hoping to get a better pair of maternity jeans that aren't two inches too long. Any suggestions?
Sunday will be church and then DH will sleep for a bit. I'm hoping the afternoon will allow us to get random house projects done. We need to do little things like fix the closers on our screen doors so they don't slam, put a motion light in the back, and tighten some door hinges. Nothing major which is why it gets put off.
My sister has also asked me to start a shower list and I have a few hours of work to make up. Nothing exciting in our house.

@simsk3887 I had to hem all of my maternity pants including my jeans. #shortgirlproblems

We have zero fun plans for this weekend. I work on Saturday and then I am hoping DH and I can go through all of our clothes and donate a bunch of them. Sunday will probably be spent making breakfast burritos for the freezer in the morning and relaxing in the afternoon.
