  I vote "DO"!  I love seeing creative or cheesy costumes people come up with.  I will say, if you significant other isn't into it or looks miserable--it's might be a "don't" in that situation.

  Do. My H and I went one year dressed in big pillows with make-up black eyes and blood - we were a "pillow fight"

  We've done it for a few years now! Last year we were the big bad wolf & little red riding hood, the year prior to that we were princess peach and mario. This year were doing the joker and harley quinn!
