WWMMD: Student Loan

I recently started going to grad school and today I received a letter saying my undergrad loan was being deferred interest free until 5/2016.  I'm torn between paying it off as planned (balance is $432) by the end of the year or taking advantage of the interest free deferment and paying $26 a month so it's paid by the end of the deferment.

WWMMD??

Re: WWMMD: Student Loan

  • If it's that low, I'd just pay it off and be done with it. Technically you could invest the difference, but you're so close!
  • Thanks ladies, I'm just going to pay it off. It's a lot less work since I already have most of my budget done for next year and autopays listed in the Excel register. :)
