Lazy Sunday

What is everyone up to today?

I have 19 Kids and Counting on TV while catching up on some laundry and cleaning.  DH is working till about 2pm, I am hoping he won't want to go out anywhere when he get home.

Re: Lazy Sunday

  • Watching Criminal minds before I have to head in to work.!
  • Cleaning and organizing around the house. It's nice to be able to do little projects!

  • @Flamingo86‌ - You are on the ball! I haven't even thought about Christmas cards yet. Haha.

Went to a Thirty One party earlier but otherwise just doing some work from home stuff and trying to entertain an overzealous puppy today. I feel like I have a toddler. She keeps chewing on the carpet where DH spilled some milk earlier. If I look at her, she stops. The second I look away, she starts again. Driving me bonkers.

    You can do it!

And then reward yourself with chocolate and/or wine.

  • Wow @flamingo86, I always thought I was early with Christmas cards, I usually address mine the weekend before Thanksgiving.  Maybe I'll start on mine next weekend?

DH said he was going to work outside too, but it never stopped raining! :-)

  • I'm late to the party, but pretty much all I did today was grade. It was the opposite of fun.

  • @cinderin I worked outside anyway :). Weeds are easier to pull when the ground is wet.

  • It'll be a lazy Monday for me.  I took off today to relax after the 10k yesterday.  I'm never home during the week so I have no idea what's on tv but I plan on watching it all day long.

  • @AprilH81‌ - We used our wedding pictures for our Christmas cards the year we got married. I did a single sided postcard size. My cousin who got married the week before us did a double sided 4 page folded 'book' for lack of a better term. Unless you have a 10 page book going out as your Christmas cards, I don't consider it AW at all :)
  • AprilH I love those photos, very festive since you had a winter wedding.  H and I are guilty of putting potentially too many photos on our x-mas cards...we did a card last year with photos on all 4 pages except the center page where we put a little up-date on our goings on for the year.  Many cards went to parent's friends who we hadn't seen since our wedding, I think they look for getting a little update and photos in x-mas cards, at least the cards with lots of photos are my favorites to receive :)

I think this year I'm keeping it more simple, my mom snapped some nice shots of H and I and doggit next to our Christmas tree, unfortunately there isn't a single shot where we're all looking at the camera, here's my favorite, I also wish H had taken his sunglasses off, but c'est la vie.
