How was your weekend?

Do you have anything you are looking forward to this week?

  • How was your weekend?
Busy and productive, which was good.
Do you have anything you are looking forward to this week?
The fact that we don't have ANY plans in the evenings.  No meetings, no Tastefully Simple parties.  Just a full week of actually having dinner together and getting things done around the house.
Who has already started Christmas shopping?  What have you bought?
I've started, but have just bought 1 thing for my secret santa at work.

How was your weekend? I'm only half way through it! Tomorrow (Remembrance Day) is a federal holiday, so I'm off work.  We took today off too.  Friday we went for drinks after work with my co-workers. Saturday I went to a craft sale with some girlfriends.  Yesterday we went and saw Saint Vincent, which we loved, and got groceries.  Today we went and checked out a new outlet mall (and it sucked) and then I got my eyebrows and chin threaded. Tomorrow I'm meeting some friends for the Remembrance Day ceremony and then we'll likely go for lunch. (DH will be marching)

Do you have anything you are looking forward to this week? Only three days of work!!! And, we're going to one of our favourite places for dinner on Saturday. Oh, I forgot, we're also going to see Sarah McLachlan on Friday night.

Who has already started Christmas shopping?  What have you bought? I'm almost finished! My sister has three girls: I bought Leapfrog Fit Bands for the two oldest and bath toys and books for the youngest; a duplo farm set for my brother's daughter and son, plus books for the nephew and I made a doll carrier and flannel doll diapers for the niece.  I just have to buy for my parents (I always buy them gift cards for fun things to do (movies, etc) because they don't need stuff) and my sister and brother-in-law. DH and I aren't buying gifts because we're going to NYC and he takes care of his family.

  • Great job shopping NFP!

The weekend was good, we saw some family and had a fun game night with our friends.

I am looking forward to the cold weather moving in this week.  Only because I know it will go away soon enough.  Sorry North dwellers!

I've bought DH one shirt.  We are really trying to cut back on purchases this year, so I've made a deal with my mom that we will only do one gift per person.  We will see how that goes.

  • How was your weekend? It was good.  My parents came up for the weekend.  Mom and I shopped.  We all went to the casino.  It felt like we ate all weekend.

Do you have anything you are looking forward to this week? Only a three day work week!

Who has already started Christmas shopping?  What have you bought? I've bought a couple of books and a sweatshirt for my niece that's it. I wish I could be more organized so I don't have to spend all the money at once. Every year, I say, "Next year..."  then I don't.

  • nfp, I'm jealous of your long weekend and of your Christmas organizational skills!

My weekend was good, busy with cleaning and household things.

This week I'm looking forward to Friday! Lot of late meetings this week, so it's going to be a long one.

I just did my first bit of in-person Christmas shopping yesterday, small gifts for my aunts and mom. I've done a little bit of online shopping for DH, he's been interested in a specific comic series, so I got him that.

I've always been super-organized when it comes to Christmas gifts, but then come mid-December I wish I could still buy gifts.  :)

  • Weekend was great! Mr took me on a surprise date Saturday night to one of my fav restaurants and then we saw a cirque show. During the day I went shopping with my mom. Sunday we went to brunch and saw Interstellat, which was really good!

No plans this week, pretty low key.

I'm super behind be on the Xmas shopping. I have one thing for Mr and a few for my mom, but that is it.

  • Weekend: work

This week: taking care of Alan after surgery

Christmas shopping: we are waiting for our Christmas club check to come in, then I will hinge purchase everything on Amazon.
  • How was your weekend?

It was good.  We did some shopping, and hanging out.  DH usually works on Saturdays, it was nice to have him home and just hang out

Do you have anything you are looking forward to this week?

Our wedding anniversary is on Wednesday.  We're going out to eat to at a new Thai restaurant that opened up couple months ago.  Can't wait!

Who has already started Christmas shopping?  What have you bought?

I haven't even thought about Christmas shopping yet

Jealous of all you ladies that have already started your Cmas shopping! I haven't even thought about who we're going to be able to buy for this year, let alone started shopping! How was your weekend? Busy... We listed our house for sale (about a month ago), and this weekend, we re-deep cleaned and did front yard work (about 10 bags of pine needles and leaves). We also took a trip to the dog park, and watched the Cardinals game. Do you have anything you are looking forward to this week? Hopefully selling our house. We received our first offer today, but it is about $20,000 away from where we need to be. Working on our counter offer tomorrow. Also, we learned that Am@z*n has awesome IF coverage for employees, so we're trying to figure out the most effective/reasonable way to get DH working there. Who has already started Christmas shopping? What have you bought? See above. @sweetpotato123‌ - Glad to hear Interstellar was good. DH and I will probably check that out next weekend. @BruinsBabe33‌ - GL with Alan's surgery. Hope everything is ok! @HoneyBee973‌ - Yum, Thai food! Enjoy, and happy anniversary! Sorry about the crappy formatting! iPad and TN are not getting along this evening.

  • How was your weekend?
Busy but good. DH and I did some random house things shopping including a snow shovel and some pet safe salt. It's not predicted to snow here yet, but we didn't want to get stuck in the frenzy when it does since we're first time home owners and don't have any other options when it comes to a shovel. It's either buy a new one or don't shovel. We had a gift card so we planned ahead. :)

Do you have anything you are looking forward to this week?
Some BR things but otherwise just trying to survive work. It's review time and I hate reviewing some of my team members. They're so miserable that it's hard to come up with positive things. DH invited some of his work friends over Wednesday night to drink so that should be fun. I have an all day work seminar on Thursday.

Who has already started Christmas shopping? What have you bought?
I'm so far behind but we've limited a bunch of buying for families so that helps. We actually haven't picked grab bag names for my family yet but still have to buy for my parents, nephews, and DH. DH only wants Playstation games which I'm fine with but I always try to get him something semi-unique and fun as well. I tried to start last week but can't come up with anything for him. Fail. I just take his lead when it comes to his mom and brother because it just depends on if we're traveling to visit them and if they're speaking to us that week. No planning ahead when it comes to them.
  • I bought my brother's girlfriend some Coach earrings. She will be sooooo excited, and little does she know that they were on clearance. :)

My goal is to have the whole family done by Thanksgiving. Then I'll spend Black Friday shopping for myself.
