My Super-Belated GTKY: About H and Me & How We Met
Sorry for the delay, everyone! I'm a GP slacker, I know.
My name is Erin, and DH is Anthony. We both started graduate school in the same school/department in the fall of 2009, and will hopefully have Ph.D.s in mathematics by the end of next summer. He is a huge fan of mythology, trivia, and classic rock, and I like swimming, running, and trying new things. We both love board/card/party games and have an entire bookcase full of games.
Apparently, we met on the morning of the first day of orientation that first year, but I have no memory of this - I had too many important packets to read! So I snubbed him a bit and he decided I was a b*tch. Then in our second semester, we took a class together where neither of us knew many people, so he introduced himself and we started studying together. Then he started hovering in my office when I was trying to work, drew me a map of the state to show me where he was from (I'm from across the country), and I invited him to go out with some of my friends that weekend. We hit it off at the bar and he invited me over to his place for our first date the following weekend. We have basically been attached at the hip ever since.
