WTF HR lady that I interviewed with before I met with the people in the department which would hire me....

If you are hiring a Ph.D., you should know how the Ph.D. process works and know that that has been my job for the last 6.5 years. She seriously suggested that I ask for references from my HIGH SCHOOL JOB. I was like, lady, that was 10+ years ago and I have no idea where those people are now. I sent her my references this morning and explained yet again that those references can certainly attest to my character, work ethic, and attendance.

Luckily, the people that interviewed me from the actual department the job is in were great.

WTF H - it isn't a contest who can stay awake with the baby longer in the middle of the night. I get up with him nightly, I understand how much it sucks. You get up with he once or twice a week for 10-15 minutes and act like it's killing you. Not cool, man.

WTF work. I'm one of only two attorneys here, and I can't get my production schedule done on time if you're constantly asking me questions that you could google. Then don't ask me why something isn't done...it's because I was googling the 60 legal questions you just asked me.

Wtf dog care place. My pup got swiped by another dog yesterday and has a bad cut in his ear. They took him to the vet who recommended stitches, but they didn't call me to ok it, so they just brought him back. Now I have to be late to work, am currently waiting for the closest vet to open to go get him fixed up.

Ooh, I keep forgetting about this one, it made me think of you @goatlady12!

WTF office manager? We are celebrating your birthday with cake and you are the one cutting it. You don't take the opportunity to use the spatula to get the cake out and proceed to use your fingers to fling the cake onto the plate. You then lick your fingers to get the frosting off. But...then the cake falls frosting side down on the plate and you decided, after you've just licked your fingers to pick it up with your bare hands and place it right side up...How do you think anyone wants to eat that piece of cake.

I never have cake at the ILs.
