SO GOOD.  Station Eleven is like a kinder, gentler version of The Road or the Walking Dead - maybe because it takes place 20 years after the end of civilization, and all the desperation to survive is replaced with survival competency?  With everything that happened/is happening with ebola this year, the book felt very eerie, but there's a very dreamy quality to the writing that almost reminded me of The Night Circus.

  • I loved it too - and definitely agree that it was particularly eerie to read during the ebola outbreak.

  • I'm on the waiting list for this at the library. Your Night Circus comparison makes me want it NOW even more!

  • I have 20 pages left in this and am forcing myself to put it down for the night so it's not over! I LOVE this book.

  • I loved this book too! Highly recommend it.

I loved the main characters, and the way the story moved from present to past. I felt like she could have developed some of the secondary characters better, though. Other than that, it was highly satisfying.
