  I confess that yesterday I did nothing but  sit on the couch and watch Gilmore Girls on Netflix all day. I'm hoping that my days of unemployment are coming to an end, so I have to soak up all the couch time while I still can...right?

  In addition to my fiction writing, I've been bringing a blog I started 11 months ago back to life!  I was going to shut it down but then I applied to google adsense (to get paid for ads) on a whim and was approved, so I'm tackling that as well.  When it's in good shape I'll share it with you all.  It's a lifestyle blog featuring stuff I like: art & photography, beauty, home decor, DIY, some Catholic stuff, and family history/genealogy.  And I've been writing an ebook on how to start your family tree online for free.

  
  

  Basically I've been busy with like 70 secret projects.  I want to earn my living this way so that someday I can stay home with my kids.  With writing and blogging, about 5 hours is all I need to get a full day of work in.  I'll still need a sitter sometimes, but not all the time like I would now.

  Confession, I'm a huge nerd.  Just made a coworker braid my hair, because I am not capable of doing my own hair.  Ready for Mockingjay.  May the odds be ever in your favor!!!
  
  Eta, yes that is a giant inflatable sun.  His name is Mr. Sunshine and he makes me happy when skies are gray.  lol!

  I confess that, while I enjoy being self reliant for heating by using our wood stove I sometimes wish I could be all "Yay consumerism!!" and turn on the furnace.  I don't like being cold and it can take a lot of work to maintain a consistent and comfy tempurature in our inefficient house.

  So, whenever I went to my trainer session at the gym, the girl I am working with mentioned that I should try to eat more--encouraging two small snacks in between the breakfast, lunch and dinner windows. One of the things she suggested were almonds. I went to the grocery store yesterday and figured I'd look to see what they have.

  @catwine I know how you feel about the wood burning stove.  My parents use one and I would hate coming home in HS and have to start or maintain a fire.  I would be tempted to turn on the heat some days, but I was too afraid I would get in trouble for it.
  
  I confess, like @snuff9861, I wore the same pair of pants multiple times this week.  I only have 2 pairs of work pants that fit.
