Gift for tween girl

My sister in law is 11. I have no clue what to get for her for Christmas. She doesn't know what she wants and I haven't got a clue. I'm thinking nail polish or something? Any ideas would be great, I'm so bad at gifts.

What do yall think? Ahhhh! Teens/Tweens are hard!

Re: Gift for tween girl

  • My thoughts: nail polish, makeup, fuzzy socks or scarf, hair accessories, gift cards (Starbucks, Target, favorite food place, etc). You could do a combo of a few of those gifts, that's what I've done in the past for DHs younger cousins, they loved it. I usually do a few girly things and then a gift card.

  • Does she like to read? A couple of new books/introducing her to a new series would work for that.

A cute necklace or bracelet from someplace like Claire's or Charlotte Russe?

    Giftcard or cash.

Ask her parents what she's into right now and if there's anything in line with that she doesn't have (eg, my little sister [who is 14 now], is into all things horse related. I got her a horse figure from the line she was collecting a couple of years ago.)

  • These are all great ideas. I was thinking about jamberry and maybe some accessories. She is homeschooled and her parents kind of limit what she reads so I wouldn't know what to get to her book wise, because they don't like the books I do (Percy Jackson, Harry potter etc).

She likes to knit, that is her new hobby, so maybe a knitting project book?
