T&Ps Needed - Cousin's Baby (LR)
Back story: My cousin had three m/c's, one of which was triplets that she lost while I was pregnant with A. She then got pregnant earlier this year with her son, she was given bad news about him, but chose to carry him to term anyway. He was born a little over a week ago, and at first seemed like he was going to make it, but his health has declined since.
He was born with two severe spinal curvatures, missing parts of the spine, fused ribs, no pelvis, no knees and a few other skeletal problems. He was diagnosed with a VERY rare form of dysplasia (he is only case #82 or 83 in the United States). His respiratory rate has been around 100-130 when it's supposed to be 30-50. He is basically hyperventilating and not letting out enough CO2. So my cousin and her H had him baptized yesterday and have chose to let him go today. I'm just so heartbroken for her...
This will be the third loss for that side of my family since September, basically one loss per month at this point. It's beyond devastating. Even more so since this isn't an elderly family member. All I ask is that you spare a few T&Ps for a painless and peaceful passing for my baby cousin. This is so unfair already, he deserves to pass peacefully.
